District Administrative Assistant
Troy School District Office has an opening for a District Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Superintendent and District Office. This key role serves as a central point of coordination across the district, managing website and digital content, supporting purchasing processes, and assisting with internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the district office and school sites, ensuring clear, timely communication and efficient operations. Responsibilities also include providing executive-level administrative support, coordinating meetings and events, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to complete tasks in allocated timelines, and a commitment to supporting students, staff, and the broader school community.
Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative, operational, and communication support to the Superintendent and district leadership team. This role serves as a central hub for district-wide coordination, managing digital content, facilitating purchasing processes, supporting communications, and acting as a liaison between the district office and school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support
- Provide direct administrative support to the Superintendent
- Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, and official documents.
- Assists in hiring processes of personnel
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Content Management
- Manage and update district website and digital platforms
- Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with district messaging and branding.
- Assist with publishing announcements, board materials, and community updates.
Purchasing & Financial Support
- Coordinate purchasing processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor communication.
- Track orders, maintain records, and ensure compliance with district policies.
- Assist with budget tracking and documentation as needed.
- Assists in food service paperwork (Direct Certification process)
- Assist in annual audit
Communications
- Support internal and external communications, including emails, newsletters, and public announcements.
- Assist in drafting and distributing communications from the Superintendent’s office.
- Help coordinate messaging during events, initiatives, or emergencies.
- Collect and distribute District mail
District Liaison
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the district office and school sites.
- Facilitate communication, requests, and information flow between administrators, staff, and departments.
- Support coordination of district-wide meetings, events, and initiatives.
Office Coordination
- Maintain organized records, files, and documentation systems.
- Support board meetings and district events, including logistics and materials preparation.
- Provide general office support and assist other departments as needed.
- Provide office coverage and maintain security of our school.

BUS ROUTE DRIVER

QUALIFICATIONS:
