Special Education and Title I Para Professionals
Troy School District has job openings for Special Education and Title I Para Professionals for the 2026-27 school year.
Job Duties Include:
• Assisting students in a one on one situation and small groups of students.
• Assisting students in the general education classroom.
• Assisting classroom teacher as needed.
Minimum requirements for this position as required by the NCLB Act are:
Have a high school diploma or equivalent AND
Complete 2 years of study at an institution of higher education equal to 32 academic core credits verified by official college transcript OR
Obtained an academic associate’s or higher degree verified by official college transcript OR Passed the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment verified by official ETS report

Head Cheer Coach
Troy High School has an opening for a Head Cheer Coach for the 2026-27 school year.
For those applicants without a standard teaching certificate, coaching experience is preferred but not required. It is also preferred that the applicant has completed the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Teaching and Modeling Behavior, St. Luke’s online concussion class, IHSAA cardiac arrest class, NFHS Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Course and have current First Aid/CPR certification
